In my sessions, I will help you to connect with your body and tap into your body's innate wisdom. I use Reiki to finish my private sessions for added healing benefits. I include creative writing therapeutic tools to provide aftercare and further integration. 

My training is trauma-informed and culturally sensitive. 



Somatic Dance and conscious dance spaces are spaces for all to come and be who they are, to move how they want. 



I believe that everyone deserves to experience somatic dance and movement, and everyone deserves trauma informed healing spaces.



My membership spaces are coming soon and will connect women, mothers and their children with somatic resources and rituals to foster deeper presence, rebuild safety and heal from past trauma.



I hold certification in guidance and counselling, somatic dance facilitation and DJing, and creative writing.

Discovering how to make the most of the potential within, discovering tools and reflecting on my (often hilarious) journey towards deeper meaning. Come and explore mysticism, working with Magic, La Luna, Cycles, Somatics and DJing as Alchemy. Including yarns about the time I accidentally used someone else's menstrual blood as perfume and when I inhaled someone's Fathers ashes on a somatic dance training...yes baby, come to be entertained and mystified....

Georgia Leigh Alchemy is a Somatic Dance Facilitator, DJ, and community space holder based in Haruru Falls, Bay of Islands.

With a background in psychology and counselling, she blends movement, music, and ritual to help people heal and regulate their nervous systems through fun, embodied experiences.

Lunar Alchemy

A 6 week series held the week of each Full and New Moon as we use eco-somatic dance to explore our connection to the rhythms of the moon and our cycles as women.

Each New Moon will be held online, in the comfort of your own home and each Full Moon will be held in person in Opua.

Come together with a small group of women to explore the astrology of each moon through dance and connection to Nature.

This will include ritual and integrative journaling. 

Sensual Somatics

A 4 week series of workshops exploring the energy of sensuality and Eros, through somatic dance.

Learn take home skills such as the 'art of tease' and come to dance in a safe container of women to some sexy soundscapes.

Playful, light and supportive, you will gain confidence in yourself and have the opportunity to connect to your sensual self. 

Strictly sensual, no sexual content.

First Moon Circle's

First Moon Circles will be held in the Bay of Islands Area in 2026.

I can also travel and hold these between Whangarei and Auckland.

What is a First Moon Circle?

First Moon Circles are a beautiful, empowering alternative to traditional period education featuring craft, conversations and a special parent-daughter celebration.

These sacred, beautiful, love-filled and most important of all FUN space for young girls and people identifying as female to gather in circle to receive knowledge and tools to start their periods with ease, flow (pardon the pun!) and comfort.

The benefit of celebrating menarche as a rite of passage ripples out across whole lifetimes, and generations far into the future.

Each child receive beautiful, thoughtfully curated and generous gifts included with their place.

Featuring self-care items, precious reminders of the day and sample products, with each person receiving as standard:

  • A copy of the ‘First Moon Guide’ – a keepsake 22 page resource full of fact sheets, guide to self-care for the cycle and a beginner cycle tracking sheet. Both mum and daughter will learn a lot from this!

  • A gift bag and / or Moon Pack (a combination of sanitary samples, and fabulous self-care items to support her emotionally, physically and spiritually).

  • Celebratory tea for both child and parent is included.

RITUAL DANCE COMING IN 2026!

FIRST EVENT IS OPEN FOR REGISTRATION

In 2026 I will be offering FOUR special dance events over the year, bringing in the medicine of sound healing to close each event and opening with the healing benefits of plant medicine.

Each Ritual Dance will be themed and will flow on from the previous one,

You are welcome to register for all four events, or come to each one as you can.

For these events to go ahead I would love to hold space for a min. of 12 people and up to 20 people would be ideal.

I have secured a beautiful venue in Haruru Falls over looking the river and our first event is open for registration!

$45 pp includes light refreshments afterwards, your ceremonial tea, 90min somatic dance journey and a 30min sound healing to close.

Reach out and secure your spot! Payment in full at registration or you can pay a $20 deposit and the rest on the day.

Catering and accom options are available as well, please enquire if you wish to make a weekend of it!
